Do I need an account to make a seating chart?

No. The tool works without signup and keeps your plan in this browser. You only need an account if you want to share the plan with your partner in Weduler.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Tap a name, then tap a table or a seat, or drag with your finger. On a small screen, tap a table to open its settings and a list of its seats.

Where is my guest list stored?

In your browser's local storage on this device. It is not uploaded unless you choose to save it to Weduler or email yourself the plan. Clearing site data removes it, so download a copy.

Can I export or print the chart?

Yes. Download the floor plan as a PNG, or as a PDF whose first page is the floor plan, followed by a seating list by table. Long guest lists continue onto extra pages. You can also print the page.

What does this free tool not do?

It draws round and rectangular tables only. It has no venue floor plan backdrop, dance floor or stage, seating rules or automatic filling by rules, and it cannot mark a seat as blocked, VIP or wheelchair. The planner inside Weduler has all of those.

What happens when I choose Save and share with your partner?

You go to the free Weduler signup. After you create your wedding, your tables and names are imported as a seating draft into an empty seating plan. Nothing already in your workspace is changed.

I am moving from Prismm. Can I use this?

Yes. Paste your guest names from any spreadsheet and rebuild your tables here. Our Prismm page lists what to export before access ends.
